About Thulir
Thulir is a boutique matchmaking service open to all singles aged 25 and above. We welcome never-married individuals, but our heart lies in serving divorced and widowed adults — people who have lived, loved, and are now ready to find meaningful companionship again. We are not a dating app. We are a human-led, concierge matchmaking service where a real person works personally on your behalf.
Matrimonial sites and apps hand you the work — browsing, filtering, hoping. Thulir hands you a person. You start with a detailed questionnaire — your background, values, and preferences. From there, your matchmaker takes over: every introduction is handpicked to match what you've shared, and made only with both parties' consent. We stay with you throughout, refining each match as we go. Not a platform. A relationship.
No. Thulir has deep roots in Chennai. That said, we facilitate introductions across India — if you're based elsewhere but open to connecting with someone from anywhere in the country, we welcome you wholeheartedly.
Getting Started
You begin by filling a detailed enrollment form on our website — covering your background, lifestyle, values, and what you are looking for. Once we review your profile, our founder personally reaches out to schedule a consultation call — to walk you through the process, answer your questions, and help you choose the right membership for where you are right now.
Yes. Every member goes through a profile review and an intake call before being welcomed into the Thulir member pool. This ensures that everyone in our network is genuine, serious, and respectful — creating a safe and trustworthy community for all.
Thulir offers three tiers — Silver (₹499, one-time listing fee), Gold (₹2,999 for 3 months of personal matchmaking), and Pearl (₹4,999 for 3 months of concierge matchmaking with coaching and events access). Each tier is designed to meet you where you are in your journey.
Yes. You can upgrade from Silver to Gold or Pearl, or from Gold to Pearl, at any point. Your matchmaker will guide you through the transition without any disruption to your journey.
That is completely understood. You can begin with a Silver membership — get listed, get comfortable, and take your time. When you feel ready, your matchmaker will be there to take the next step with you. There is no pressure, and no rush.
The Matchmaking Process
Your matchmaker personally reviews profiles in our member pool and identifies compatible matches based on your values, preferences, and aspirations — not just age and location. Every introduction is made only after both parties give explicit consent. No personal details are shared without your knowledge.
This depends on your membership tier. Gold members receive 2–3 curated introductions per month. Pearl members receive 4–6 introductions per month, with priority handling and faster turnarounds. All introductions are handpicked — never random, never rushed.
Absolutely. Your profile, personal details, and all conversations with your matchmaker are treated with complete confidentiality. We comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDPA) 2023, and your information is never shared without your explicit consent.
Our events are designed to help you connect naturally — without the pressure of a one-on-one introduction. We organise small, curated experiences including pottery and painting workshops, trekking outings, group sport events, shared hobby meetups, intimate group dinners, and occasional curated group trips. These are spaces where you get to know people as they truly are — through shared experiences, not rehearsed conversations.
Not at all. Events are available to Pearl members and are entirely optional. They are simply a gentler, more relaxed way to meet like-minded people — and many members find them to be the most enjoyable part of their Thulir journey.
Support & Wellbeing
We understand. Beginning again after divorce or loss takes courage, and readiness looks different for everyone. As an add-on, Thulir offers access to licensed relationship counsellors who can support you before or during your matchmaking journey — at your own pace, entirely on your own terms. For those who'd prefer shared healing, Thulir also offers a small-group divorce support circle — details on request.
