I am a practicing pediatric surgeon by training — but somewhere along the way, I became just as invested in the science of relationships as I am in the science of healing.
Over years of clinical practice, I watched something else unfold quietly around me: marriages ending, families fracturing, and often, well-meaning relatives and parents shaping decisions that were never truly theirs to make.
In India, love rarely happens in isolation — families, society, and circumstance all have a hand in it.
I started Thulir because I believe it doesn't have to be this way. That finding a partner — the first time, or after loss — can be dignified, intentional, and free of the noise.
Thulir is my attempt to change how relationships begin in India: with less interference, more self-knowledge, and real human care guiding the way.
A quieter, more thoughtful way to begin.
